Vacancy:


Job Title: Fitter.

Job Location: Cloughmills based.

Function: Responsible for maintaining plant machinery, attachments and recording completed work on a dedicated maintenance system.


Key Skills:


~Working mechanical knowledge of heavy plant machinery (or similar) and ancillary attachments.

~Experience of equipment, hydraulic and electrical systems.

~ Ability to organise and address technical issues effectively and safely.

~Understanding of health and safety requirements.

~Driving license.


Experience: 3 years in a similar role.


Candidate must:


~Be medically fit to carry out role.

~Hold relevant qualification / technical experience.

~Ability to work on an on-call rota.

~ Willingness to learn.

~Undergo reasonable training as directed.

Desirable: PTS card.

New title

Due to expansion RPS are recruiting a Hiab driver to join our team. The position is on a permanent basis and will be based out of our Head Office in Cloughmills, Ballymena.  The role will require loading, delivery and unloading of heavy plant and attachments to various sites across Northern Ireland. Full training will be provided.

 

The role will include dayshift/nightshift with some weekend work. Full and Part time positions available. Excellent rate of pay.

Essential:

 

•      Class 2 HGV 

 

•      Clean driving license

 

•      CPC Card

 

•      Must be over 25 for insurance purposes

 

•      At least two years’ experience in a similar role

 

•      Be a good team player with a can -do attitude

 

 

Desirable:

 

•      Hiab Experience/ Full training will be provided.

•      Class 1 HGV

•      CPCS/CSR/NPORS Lorry loader ticket

•      Previous experience in plant transportation.

•      Previous railway work.

•      Flexibility with hours.
